Susie Who's Gold Standard Shilajit Paste is harvested from the Altai Mountain Range in Central Asia, where Russia, China, Mongolia and Kazakhstan converge. Formed over hundreds — sometimes thousands — of years through the fermentation of plant matter between rocks, shilajit is a dense, mineral-rich resin used in traditional Russian and Ayurvedic medicine for over 3,000 years.
What Is Shilajit?
Also known as "rock juice" or "mountain blood", shilajit is an organomineral matter rich in fulvic acids, humic acids, amino acids, terpenes, and over 85 trace minerals including zinc, calcium and iron. Tests suggest it can be between 500 and 15,000 years old.
How It Works
Shilajit works through several mechanisms:
- Boosts ATP levels — the energy currency of cells — improving energy production and exercise performance
- Activates mitochondrial respiration and enhances cellular energy
- Contains dibenzo-alpha-pyrones (DBPs) that cross the blood-brain barrier, protecting brain tissue and boosting cognitive function

Why Paste, Not Tablets or Powder?
Genuine shilajit is a thick, sticky resin — and most research has been conducted on this natural whole form. Processing shilajit into tablets, capsules, powder or liquid removes and alters its components through heat and other processes. Altered forms may not deliver the same benefits as the natural resin.

How to Use
New users: start with half a 0.1ml spoon (approx. 125mg) and monitor for adverse reactions for 24 hours. If no reaction occurs, proceed with regular supplementation the following day.
FAQs
Are your cosmetics free from chemicals?
Yes - they are totally free from unnecessary harsh chemicals and don't contain sulphates or parabens.
Is your packaging recyclable?
All of my plastic bottles are made of recycled plastic and all of my glass is completely recyclable. I re-use as much packaging as possible and have swapped as much plastic as I can for card and paper.
Are there any fillers or binders in your wheatgrass and chlorella and can you take them together?
My wheatgrass and chlorella don't contain any fillers or binders at all. They work very well when taken together.
Do any of your skincare products contain colours or synthetic fragrances?
None of my hair or skincare formulas contain artificial colours. I only use natural oils so no synthetic fragrances at all.
